![]() It was very detailed, well planned, we had homework, tests, and projects to complete. Self educated culinary wise with a few classes here & there. If you have taken the classes did you find them worthwhile? Do they seem to be something where you could step in with little to no experience and be successful? Is there something you could recommend otherwise?Ĭooking baking 50 years since childhood, almost did culinary school but, got into real estate & stayed with my chosen career. For me they are reasonably priced and the few reviews I found seem to paint them in good light. I am looking into Ecole Chocolat and they offer two classes that look interesting… the bean to bar and the Professional Chocolatier Program. I have done some research and most in person classes I have looked at are either being hindered by Covid OR would be difficult to work around my day job due to work/travel. I feel that my skill set is lacking too as a result. I have never taken a cooking class and the only food prep experience comes from feeding myself and family ). ![]() So now my wife and I are looking at the hoops we have to go through for a small scale chocolate making business… And I shared with people and they like it too! I have people interested in when I might sell. I really like the process and tasting it in the end. Like many of you I like chocolate… so much so that back in 2017 my wife and I learned how to make it. Okay so my background… I am a computer programmer for my day job and that’s how I will likely retire but who knows.
